Apparently, I'm catching on late to all of the crazy cuteness that this brand possesses! O-Mighty is def established and can be found in shops such as: Urban Outfitters, Nasty Gal, and Karmaloop. I can't even complain about the pricing either. I've gotta get my hands on a couple of the pieces pictured above..

The highly anticipated debut of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has finally made its way! I'm so stoked to view it. However, I'm more excited to share some of the gorgeous looks that Jennifer Lawrence sported over the course of the week. Ms. Lawrence absolutely dazzled in Dior as she promoted the film's international debuts. It seems like she customized her looks based on the country which I find very tasteful, but I could be wrong.  I've certainly enjoyed witnessing the evolution of her style. And her haircut is quite fitting for her more mature/edgy look. Somehow she's managed to receive some negative criticism regarding her wardrobe choices, but I'm in love.

11/18 Must-have Monday feat. The Leather Jacket

The Chic Leather Jacket

Another Monday has approached us! Since it is Monday, I must admit that it was a little difficult to choose this week's item. However, cheers to good friends with great style. So in honor of my bestfriends, this week's pick for Must-have Monday is the Chic Leather Jacket. I love the leather jacket for several reasons. It's a timeless fall essential that never has/never will go out of style. It screams versatility and can be worn with virtually anything. It's also an edgy statement piece. (Y'all know how much I love versatility & badass-ness.) An authentic leather jacket is pretty pricey but luckily there are shops like:  Polyvore, Zara, Forever XXI, and TopShop.

I'm trying to get my hands on the fringe sleeved one pictured above (37.80 from Forever XXI) and I def wouldn't mind having the individual biker jacket pictured above (H&M 49.95) Not bad huh? 

Whew! my Christmas list is just piling up..

11/15 Friday Favorite feat. Jhené Aiko

My Friday Favorite: Jhené Aiko

Angelic, peaceful, and very talented are just a few terms that I could use to describe this very serene singer-songwriter. Her new EP titled Sail Out debuted on Monday, Nov. 11th. Sail Out is comprised of 7 tracks including my favorite, "Bed Peace" featuring Childish Gambino. The EP received very good reception from her fans and celebrity supporters. Yesterday (11/14), she celebrated the release of her tranquil EP looking pretty in pink with guests including Chris Brown, Karrueche Tran, and Keri Hilson. I had the pleasure of witnessing her talent last week at the Would You Like A Tour show here in ATL. Hence my video above (excuse the cameras & my awful singing). She's got great vocals and a greater style to match it. I can't quite pinpoint her style yet but I love it. I'm definitely vibing with Jhené right now, she's a breath of fresh air to the music industry. You can get her EP on iTunes or listen for free on Spotify (my option)

11/11 Must-have Monday feat. The Sailor Hat

The Stylish Sailor Hat

Happy Veterans day to you all! Over the weekend I had a typical Beyoncé overload where I ran across her sporting a sailor hat in the "Love on Top" video. The hat was such a great addition to her simple yet gorgeous dance ensemble that included a leotard and wedge sneakers..that's all. The Sailor Hat is quite conservative yet it is militant enough to channel some edginess. Its versatility is also exceptional. Whether you want to channel a cute pin-up girl or step out like a boss, this is the piece to consider throwing on. I can already envision the endless outfit combinations that this hat entails. Unfortunately, I haven't had much luck in finding one to call my own (sad face) but I have faith in army surplus retailers and eBay. New mom, newer style

My Friday Favorite: Kim Kardashian's fierce post-pregnancy looks

Kim Kardashian is fully invested in her new lifestyle as both a celebrity mom and a soon-to-be bride. However, she has always been super stylish to me. I love how her outfit combinations always complement her shape and image. These looks have also coincided with whatever phase she is experiencing. For instance when she first started dating Ye she began to incorporate very edgy, high-end pieces with her looks. Must be nice to have a boo with taste like that..

Moreover she still managed to look absolutely fabulous through the duration of her pregnancy! Nowadays, her style is so mature and mommy-like. Kimmy can definitely work the hell out of a peacoat..

She definitely keeps the media on their toes while laughing all the way to the bank.

Midnight Manicure

It's always nice to treat yourself every once in awhile..

On Wednesday I got in tune with my inner girl and treated myself to a manicure. Although it was very last minute my girl Daphne hooked my natural nails up by soaking off my acrylic and defining my nails with great shape and pretty colors. I feel rejuvenated to say the least. I plan on visiting her regularly for some much needed maintenance!

Happy Monday! For this week's edition of Must-have Monday I'm featuring the fierce Tall Boot. Walking tall never looked so good til you slid into a pair of these babies! The Tall Boot is a great route to accentuate those legs regardless of your height (peep the petite Karrueche Tran). They embody versatility and can complement any type of look, day or night. I enjoy seeing them paired with casual looks like jean shorts and a blazer (like LaLa). Although they're fairly pricey you can find them at Steve Madden, Nasty Gal, ASOS,  and Jeffrey Campbell..luckily Christmas time is right around the corner..kinda.

The lace up pair (my favorite) are by Jessica Simpson for $170.
