Happy Friday everyone! I believe that I've finally recuperated from all of the snow this week in Atlanta. This week's Friday Favorite belongs to the one and only Rihanna. (She's no stranger to thethirdcultureblog.) The Bajan Beauty beamed at Good Morning America on Wednesday of this week as she promoted the launch of her new Viva Glam product. Which I have yet to get my hands on..Ri looked so ladylike in a tweed Chanel suit and a pair of Manolo pumps. She appeared to be genuinely happy, a mood that I haven't seen in awhile. I'm glad! maybe we can get a new album soon..

Spring arrivals from Sorella Boutique

Happy Monday beautiful people! I hope that you enjoyed your weekend. In order to successfully  spring into the next season, I've been making some much needed arrangements to my wardrobe. It appears as though I'll be receiving some assistance from one of my favorites, Sorella Boutique. If you aren't familiar with this shop, it's an online boutique that carries trendy items catered to young women like myself who aspire to look good for less. Sounds sweet right? With over 70 new arrivals, I managed to select a couple of Must-haves. I'm dying over that mesh kimono dress!

Once again, I'll save myself the hassle of totaling my pricy tab..

Happy Friday guys and girls! I hope that you all had an awesome week.. 

I couldn't help but gush over these two studs who covered ESPN The Magazine's February music issue. I'm definitely not a sports fan but I will admit that I have a longtime crush on LA Clippers' point guard Chris Paul (shh!) However, I am an avid listener of "good kid, m.A.A.d city." Rapper Kendrick Lamar accompanied Paul looking handsome per usual. In the issue, the rapper/athlete duo discuss a variety of topics including how they met one another. My favorite portion of the interview was when the two stars shared their admiration for each other's careers. It's always refreshing to witness authenticity in the industry instead of animosity.

p.s. Kudos to K.Dot for his first Grammy nomination! I can't wait to watch.

Happy Martin Luther King day to you all! I hope that you find some time to relax and enjoy this day accordingly. As I helplessly filled shopping carts online this past weekend, I couldn't help but notice the overflow of these adorable open-toe boots..aka Peek-a-Booties (I totally made this name up.)

 These boots have moved to the top of my list for Springtime essentials..They're reminiscent of a nice sandal yet they still maintain a boot-like essence. Of course, my ideal outfit idea for the Peek-a-Booties would include a distressed pair of bf jeans and some type of oversized top, or even a button-up. My fav pair at the moment are from H&M (pictured above) for only $39, which are selling out like wildfire.

Ahh, it's such a relief to finally face another Friday! I've had such a busy week.. Despite the chaos, I managed to peep an upcoming fashionista. Meet Margot Robbie: an Australia native and an upcoming star from the award winning film, "The Wolf of Wall Street." While I tried to readjust to college, Robbie managed to break necks this week in some of the most gorgeous ensembles. On Sunday, she glittered in Gucci at the Golden Globes. I'd kill for that gown. I love the minimal accessory route. Sometimes, less is definitely more. If that look wasn't glam enough, check Margot out at the Critics' Choice Awards yesterday. She showed up in a super cute Elie Saab jumpsuit. At this point, I'm dying to peak into this woman's closet. Ugh!

I've got to go and see her in "The Wolf of Wall Street" this weekend to ease my obsession.

Fabulous Fedoras

It feels great to be back in the blogosphere! I've been absolutely deprived of fashion. The first edition of Must-have Monday for 2014 is the Fabulous Fedora. The Fedora hat is the perfect accessory for any Winter look. it's also a very convenient go-to item for those busy days. I can admit, the Fedora hat has been my fashion life saver on plenty of bad hair days. This hat is fairly inexpensive and it is available at various shops including: (my favorite) Urban Outfitters, Free People, Asos, River Island, and Nordstrom. Peep some of the fab looks above including King Bey and Karrueche Tran.

What I'm Reading:

Happy 2014!

In order to kick off the year on a fresh note, I decided to dedicate more of my time to motivational reading. So, I picked up a couple of inspirational books and a cute devotional for women who are "on the go." I'd like to think that I'm a fairly busy person however the book's title, (Be Still and Let Your Nail Polish Dry) definitely won me over. Although it isn't pictured, I also picked up The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, I heard that this book is quite life changing.

I'll be sure to share my thoughts and any inspirational messages that I happen to discover!
